Hey Powerful Medical team, here are four ideas for the PMcardio paywall, each backed by data from 78,000+ paywalls.

Built in Adapty Flow Builder

Millions of dollars in subscription revenue pass through Flow Builder every month.

Nearly 500 apps actively build their paywalls and onboarding in it — plenty of them past $100K MRR.

What this is

We signed up for PMcardio as a new clinician, scrolled the Pro Plan paywall to the bottom, tapped its X, and read it against the report.

Adapty powers subscriptions for 30,000+ apps, and State of Paywalls 2026 is what that data says about 78,000+ paywalls. We went through onboarding, read every section of your Pro Plan paywall, opened the App Store sheet, then closed the paywall to see what happens next. Then we compared each element with what top apps do and with what wins in A/B tests.

Your paywall already carries more proof than most: 5,000+ professionals, named emergency physicians and ten certification marks. The four ideas are about when people see that proof, and about what happens after they say no.

We did not redesign your app

Every screen in the prototype is yours: the Pro Plan mark, the ECG illustrations, ECGxplain and LVsense, the testimonials, the FAQ, the certification panel, your two plan cards and your blue Continue. Only what the screen says, and when, changed.

You may have tested some of this

We are working from the outside, so we cannot see your experiment history. If you have already run one of these, tell us and we will go deeper on the rest.

Benchmarks are for all categories in the US, your largest App Store market. The report has no Medical category, so we use the all-category numbers rather than borrow a neighbour’s.

The four ideas

Ranked by what we would test first.

The offer comes first: in the report, offer changes win more A/B tests than visual or copy changes. Each idea opens the screen in the prototype.

Potential outcome

Three ideas work on the first look at the paywall, the moment the report finds converts almost 4× better than any later one. The fourth catches the people who still say no.

★★★★★This was an interesting reading from PM Cardio on this EKG. It is exactly right - patient had a RCA infarct 3 wks ago and got cath/ stented of a 100% occlusion. PM Cardio called it.
